We're transforming Youth Through Praise and Worship
We are a Christian Youth ministry that was founded in the year 2000 at St Paul’s Cathedral Kasese district. The ministry was founded by a group of six young men and ladies who had given their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ while in secondary school and had the desire to minister to their fellow youth through music. During this time, most youth at the cathedral were not being receptive to the ministry of the word of God – many were living stray lives. Thisprompted the six (6) youth to start a vibrant Sunday youth fellowship which was characterized with a youthful touch of praise and worship that attracted many youth to join the Sunday afternoon fellowships.
Subsequently the fellowship grew from six people to twenty and later to fifty. Permission was sought from the church leadership for the fellowship to be allowed to minister during Sunday services and conducted school outreaches and concerts as a way of spreading the word of God to the youth. The leaders sought to strengthen the ministry structures and a Patron was identified to provide oversight to the ministry. To-date the ministry has its membership in Uganda and abroad, with a strong leadership structure.

Christ Melody Ministry (CMM) is on a mission to strengthen the spiritual roots of our youth in today’s ever-changing world. Our School Ministry program is designed to shield them from harmful influences and temptations that divert them from their values and faith.
In this digital age, young people are exposed to various trends that can lead them astray. CMM acknowledges this challenge and is committed to guiding our youth toward a righteous path.

- Protection: We provide a safe space where young people can explore their faith, resist temptation, and make wise choices, safeguarding them from worldly distractions.
- Spiritual Growth: We aim to nurture our youth’s spiritual development, helping them build a strong connection with their faith through engaging activities, teachings, and mentoring.
- Supportive Community: We foster a supportive community where young individuals can share their concerns and achievements. CMM connects them with like-minded peers and mentors committed to their growth and well-being.
- Moral Guidance: CMM imparts essential moral and ethical teachings, equipping our youth with a solid moral compass to navigate the complexities of the modern world.
